The company AZUR, established under the name of “United oil and soap factories”, evolved during the years, following its development course in accordance with the evolution of the Romanian society.

In 1923 Eugen Farber founded United Lacquers and Paints Factory, moment marking the beginning  of the paints production.

After 1989, the company had to find resources for the new path.
The privatization of the company, through purchasing the main stock, of about 88% by ICC Industries New York, represented finality with historical touch, as the new owner of the company was Dr. John Farber, son of Eugen Farber.

Today, the company is engaged on the path of change. Thus, the company’s policy is considering orientation towards consumer, diversification of solution offer in order to increase competitiveness on market. 
We are changing because the market is changing, the competitive environment is changing, and consumer’s behavior is changing.

Starting from these premises, Azur is launching the CHANGE.

The company Azur is one of the main suppliers of solutions on the Romanian paints and lacquers market. Our main goal is to increase the value of the company within the ICC Industries group. We are considering:

What role do we have:

Azur is lacquers and paints producers, offering solutions based both on own know how and consequence of collaboration with consulting partners.

Azur is approaching a large segment of consumers. Proposed solutions are oriented towards markets and types of consumers, in accordance with their needs. We inform both directly and through our partners about the increase of the competitiveness of our products, whom we are

supporting by granting technical assistance.

Their preparation provides the premises for the successfully promotion of AZUR’s offer.
